Booking
›How do I book a car?
Choose a city, a period and a vehicle on rentcars.tazaghine.com. Fill in the form, upload your ID and your driving licence, and accept the rental terms. No payment is required at this stage: the agency receives your request and confirms it.
›Do I need an account to book?
No, you can book without an account. With an account, you can find all your bookings under “My rentals”.
›Is my booking confirmed immediately?
No: your booking stays “awaiting agency confirmation” until the rental company validates it. The vehicle's registration number is shared with you once the booking is confirmed.
›How do I find my booking again?
Use “Find my booking”: enter your booking number and the email used when booking. No account is required.
Rental conditions
›What age and licence are required?
The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a driving licence valid for at least 1 year. An ID document (CIN, passport or residence permit) is required.
›Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit (security deposit) is taken at pick-up, usually as a pre-authorisation on a bank card. It is released after the vehicle is checked, less any applicable charges.
›How do fuel and mileage work?
The vehicle is handed over with a fuel level that must be returned identical. The mileage (unlimited or capped) and the rate for extra kilometres are stated in the contract.
›Can I take the vehicle out of Morocco?
No, unless you have prior written authorisation from the agency and suitable insurance. Outside Morocco, the vehicle is not covered by default.
›What do the insurance and excess cover?
Third-party liability insurance is included. Optional cover (excess waiver) can be taken out; an excess remains payable by you per claim. The full general conditions are appended to the contract.
Payment
›When do I have to pay?
No advance payment via rentcars.tazaghine.com. You pay the agency directly when you pick up the vehicle.
›Which payment methods are accepted?
Most agencies accept: bank card (Visa/MasterCard via CMI), cash in MAD, bank transfer and Wafacash. Confirm with the agency before pick-up.
›Are there any hidden fees?
No. The displayed price is the final price paid to the agency. VAT is included and itemised on the invoice.
Documents
›Which documents do I upload when booking?
An ID document (CIN, passport or residence permit) and your driving licence. Uploading is mandatory to confirm the booking (image or PDF, 10 MB maximum).
›What do I need to bring at pick-up?
The originals of your driving licence and ID document, along with your booking voucher.
›Is an international driving permit mandatory?
For drivers from the European Union, the national licence is usually sufficient. For other countries, the international driving permit (IDP) is recommended.
Cancellation
›What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before pick-up. Within 72 hours, a fee equal to 3 days of rental applies, capped at the total amount of the booking.
›What happens in case of a no-show?
If you do not show up within 2 hours of the agreed time without having cancelled, the same fee applies, capped at the total amount of the booking.
›Can the agency cancel my booking?
In case of unavailability (breakdown, accident), the agency offers an equivalent or higher-category vehicle at no extra cost, or fully refunds the amounts paid.
›And in case of force majeure?
No fee is due for a cancellation justified by a duly documented case of force majeure.
